Our Hotel and Restaurant are located in Lillafüred, in the early 20th-century Weidlich Villa, on the picturesque shore of Lake Hámori. Our family business opened its doors in 1999, while the company operating the Hotel and Restaurant was founded in 1996 by my father, Ferenc Szabó, as a family enterprise. In 1997, the company purchased the property at auction, which included the then-derelict Weidlich Villa.
In the years that followed, renovations and new constructions were carried out, including the restaurant, open terrace, reception building, and eight guest rooms. In 2011, we were awarded the three-star rating. Today, alongside my father, Ferenc Szabó, the business is run by myself, Zoltán Szabó, and my brother-in-law, Gábor Vass.
